About DepotKeeper

What is DepotKeeper?

DepotKeeper is a warehouse management system (WMS) for small warehouses, home-based fulfilment teams and small 3PLs. It manages receiving, multi-client inventory, warehouse locations, picking and order fulfilment.

Is DepotKeeper a WMS?

Yes. It brings warehouse clients, products, inbound receiving, SKU and bin inventory, orders, pick lists, shipping and stock movements into one system.

Who is DepotKeeper for?

DepotKeeper is built for small warehouses, home-based fulfilment teams, small 3PLs and growing fulfilment businesses.

Is DepotKeeper suitable for small warehouses?

Yes. It focuses on client separation, bin-level stock, receiving, picking, shipping and collaboration for teams serving multiple sellers.

Can it support ecommerce sellers?

Yes. Sellers manage their own products, shops and plans through authorised relationships, while warehouses focus on receiving, inventory, picking and fulfilment. Third-party integrations depend on the market and approved permissions.

Multi-client inventory and receiving

Can DepotKeeper manage multiple clients?

Yes. A warehouse serves multiple clients in one workspace while keeping each client’s products, inventory, orders and business relationships separate.

Can each client have separate inventory?

Yes. Inventory is scoped by client relationship, SKU and bin, so matching SKUs across different clients do not merge automatically.

Does DepotKeeper support warehouse locations?

Yes. Receiving, inventory lookup, transfers, stocktakes and picking use actual bins, and one SKU can be stored in multiple locations.

What happens when the actual receipt differs from the forecast?

The warehouse records the actual quantity and reason. The seller confirms the archived difference without changing inventory a second time.

Can I migrate from Excel?

You can begin by maintaining or importing products and opening inventory, then establish future receiving and movement records by actual bin. Confirm the exact migration scope before onboarding.

Picking, scanning and fulfilment

Does DepotKeeper support barcode scanning?

DepotKeeper supports scanner-driven warehouse work. The Android app is used for receiving, picking, shipping and inventory lookup, with barcodes matched to product or SKU data in the workspace.

What is a pick list?

A pick list groups eligible orders and shows SKU images, variants, quantities and bins for consolidated picking.

How is order work assigned?

Orders show dispatch and auto-cancellation deadlines. Administrators can assign owners or assign in bulk, and task settings can allow operators to claim unassigned work.

How is DepotKeeper different from enterprise WMS software?

DepotKeeper prioritises the core workflows a small 3PL needs, reducing complex implementation, excessive configuration and feature layers that do not serve a small team.

Integrations, pricing and access

Does DepotKeeper integrate with TikTok Shop?

Yes. After seller authorisation, DepotKeeper can sync products, SKU variants and pending orders by shop within approved permissions, then send fulfilment-ready orders to a partner warehouse.

Why do Fulfilled by TikTok orders not enter the warehouse?

TikTok fulfils those orders. DepotKeeper syncs their status but does not send them to the partner warehouse for picking or shipping.

How much does DepotKeeper cost?

The website does not currently promise fixed plans or a free tier. Contact the DepotKeeper team to confirm the appropriate arrangement for your warehouse, clients and fulfilment needs.

Is DepotKeeper suitable for home-based fulfilment?

Yes. Home-based fulfilment is one DepotKeeper use case, alongside micro and growing 3PL operations.
